Macy's New Bed

We converted Macy's crib to a Big Girl Bed. I decided to try out my "new" sewing machine from my wonderful Grandma and I did it! I sewed the comforter and all the pillows myself! (The bed skirt and original bumper, quilt, and curtains are from my wonderful mother-in-law)

I am making another set for a Baby Shower (the baby is already 6 months old, so I thought "toys" would be okay to give). Here are the two sandwiches and sets of apples together.

I got a little nuts since the second set is a present and decided to make it a "Brown Bag Lunch," complete with Oreo Cookies, Personalized Lunch Sack, Napkin, and Ziplock Bags for each. ( I have to say I was excited putting the "blue and green zip-seal" on the bags... I had been trying to think of how to "package" everything since Macy's is just like in her playhouse and doesn't need transporting- I wish they had "clear" velcro but I think it still gets the point across?)

Annoyed

So, this blog is suppose to be about me and the other blog I have is suppose to be about Macy, for the grandparents to look at pictures of her. I have ended up just putting each post on both blogs because I wanted my mom to see the crafts I've done. And I made this blog public because I wanted to post my blog when I did that contest so that other crafty girls from that site could come look at my blog without having to be invited...so the fact that this one is public now makes me feel like I can't just say whatever I want now either. Blah. Advice? How do other people do this? I feel like most of you guys my friends just have one blog and it's kinda about everything- do you ever feel restricted by the fact that your family reads it? Do you think all these amazing people who have their own real craft blog probably have a family blog too that they only post family stuff on? I just don't know. I feel like what I'm doing right now is stupid though.

Princess "Belle" Dress

Macy got this dress for her birthday from Grandma and Grandpa Lewis. She calls it her "Belle Dress". I loved to be able to make a really fancy headband since the dress was soo princess!(sorry so many pictures...just thought this was a great shoot)

Bunny's 2nd Birthday Party!! (part 1)

Well, anyone who is reading this blog probably knows that I am a little bit into parties... and following my nature, Macy's Second Birthday Party certainly was going to be something I planned for a long time. I decided to go for the theme of Bunnies because, as you probably also know, that is Macy's nickname. So, here we go:

Bunny's Birthday Part 2

After presents, we turned on "The Bunny Hop" song and had the kids "Hopscotch" their way to the backyard
