Stuff Going On

Yeah, yeah I know- September was my last posting and it's now December...We've posted on Macy's blog? Doesn't that count? I don't even really have much to say right now either. I am looking forward to Christmas in like three days- we are driving down to LA to spend it with my parents and siblings. I am exicted to spend time with them and have other people besides myself and Austin think she is the cutest thing ever. I am not, however, looking forward to the 6+ hour drive down there with Macy trapped in her much-hated carseat. Oh well- what can I do? (That is what I keep trying to tell myself, but I know I will worry anyway- "Don't worry... or worry but know that worrying is like trying to solve a problem by chewing bubble gum...") (Sorry Brittany for all the ... but I have to write my blog like me...) (haha)
Hmm...what else? Well, I guess some people may not know that we moved. (Some people? Like I have more than 2 friends?) We moved just around the corner from our old apartment complex, so it is not that drastic of a change because we are in the same neighborhood, just like one street over and in the same ward and everything. It was, however, still a whole freakin' move though- blah! But now we have only like 3 boxes left (crap that you never know what to do with in the first place- it will never be unpacked) and most of our pictures are even hung. So, I feel pretty settled in. That is much thanks to my mom and sister and Val (Thank you!!!) for helping me watch Macy and helping with the packing and unpacking. We HEART our new place. It is much (to us) bigger than our old apartment and is brand new because the man who owns it is a contractor who "flipped" it himself and takes pride in his work. Harwood floors, new paint that I picked, brand new bathroom everything and new cabinets and appliances in the kitchen with marble (ish) countertops! It is a duplex, so it really feels like our "house" and not an apartment. AND it's less rent than we were paying! The BEST part though, is the garage with a brand new washer/dryer of my very own ( NO MORE QUARTERS!!!) and the most BESTEST ever scrapbook "room" (really half the garage, but it's all mine!) which, is just freaking amazing to have. Our wonderful home teacher helped us fix our old crappy desk, and now it is filled with all my stuff and it's all ORGANIZEDDD!! (well, mostly). It is just sooo nice to have a place for everything and to be able to put everything in it's place. It is so nice to leave out all my crap and come back to it later without having to but it all away in between so a certain daughter of mine doesn't completely massacre it. It will be very helpful in my life especially with Austin's impending disappearance come "tax" season ( really audit season for him, but let's not go there). I will be by myself a whole heck of a lot so I'm happy I will at least have something to distract me at night and also somewhere to go to escape being a mom for a minute. I welcome anyone and everyone who would love to come have fun with me in my little sanctuary!! I want it to be a place for fun and happiness for all! I will post some pictures when I finish decorating...whenever the heck that will be...
Anyways, I guess this turned out to be a pretty decent post- I guess the move is a good topic. So, yeah... the end.
p.s. my friend brittany just posted on her blog how annoying she thinks it is when people do ... and a lot of exclaimation points and stuff like that- oh, like haha too- i'm sure you will hate this post brit, with all the quotation marks and parenthese too, but hopefully you don't hate me too much...love you!
